Structure Inspections
Rope access provides one of the safest ways to access, inspect and maintain large industrial structures and/or infrastructure.
Wind turbines
Our rope access team can scale wind turbines (a difficult and dangerous access challenge) without the need for a crane or specialist lift.
- Full structure access – from top to bottom including the tower, nacelle and blades
- A safer method – rope access is one of the few and safest access methods
- Time and cost-efficient – avoid lead time and cost of hiring a crane or EWP
Bridges
Rope access enables technicians to inspect bridges from above and below and conduct maintenance with minimal/no traffic disruption.
- Suited to all bridge types – road, rail, pedestrian and services bridges
- Reach all difficult areas – the undersides, piers, cables and expansion joints
- Less traffic disruption — no need for scaffold rigs or (typically) full lane closures
Stadiums
Our rope access team can scale, inspect and maintain a stadium’s roof, lighting rigs and other structural elements without disruption.
- Hard-to-reach access – safe access to high structural and lighting elements
- No heavy equipment – avoids scaffolding or EWPs on the stadium field or seating
- Minimal disruption – work completed with less disruption to venue or events
Dams
Our rope access team can navigate dams and supporting infrastructure in order to conduct close-up inspections, repairs or maintenance.
- Survey critical structures – inspect dam walls, spillway chute walls, intake/outlet structures
- Get close-up – rope access is the best way to get a close examination of infrastructure
- Cost efficient – work completed without need for costly cranes or heavy equipment
